a) CLEANING FREQUENCY AND COST:

The price of a cleaning session depends on several factors: one of them is the frequency of cleaning sessions.  The more often a property is cleaned, the lower the cost of each cleaning. Why?

The reason is simple. Dust accumulates over time, so if we clean weekly, there is less work to do than if we only clean once a month.

For this reason, when a client receives an estimate for cleaning, the prices will vary with the frequency of cleaning sessions.  If cleaning is interrupted by the client, for whatever reason, the cost of restarting the cleaning program may increase. The client can always call within 48 hours to reschedule a session, and if the change is within a relatively short period of time, there will be no change to the cost.  But if delay is for a longer period of time, the result could be an increase in the price. 

b) PRICE WITHOUT VISUAL INSPECTION.

Cleaning homes, offices, and commercial properties usually involves a quote based on a visual inspection because cleaning details vary greatly and a visual evaluation is essential. Calculations based on number of rooms, square footage, or cleaning time, without an inspection of the site, cannot be exact and JCS does not operate in this manner.

c) WHAT A CLEANER MUST NOT DO

For LEGAL and SAFETY reasons, we cannot ask a cleaner to move heavy furniture, clean exterior windows, or climb ladders to clean elevated areas. For these jobs we use extension tools capable of reaching twelve feet. For SANITARY reasons, a cleaner cannot be expected to pick up human or animal feces, clean urine, vomit, blood, handle used baby diapers or clean litter boxes.

CLUTTER: The cleaner cannot do her job well unless the area is reasonably free of such clutter as clothing, toys, towels, newspapers, magazines, and dishes. For this reason, we expect the client to pick up the day before the scheduled cleaning session, removing anything that could get in our way of providing a quality cleaning.
